Copa América Centenario: Panama Lead The Way With Their New Kits
Invited to this summer’s Copa América Centenario after their third-place finish in last summer’s Gold Cup, Panama have found themselves facing holders Chile and Argentina, with Bolivia completing the quartet.
HOME KIT
But it’s hats off to New Balance whose design means the Panama players will be holding their heads high. The beautiful red tops are adorned with a thick white stripe on the left of the shirt, flanked on either side by a thin royal blue stripe. White trim on the sleeves completes a striking football top.
The intricacy of the badge design beautifully compliments the shirt, sitting prominently against the white stripe.
Panama will debut the kit in this month’s friendlies against Venezuela and Brazil.
AWAY KIT
New Balance have mirrored the design of the Panamanian home kit for the alternate.
The primary stripe is blue this time around, with the red of the home kit standing guard either side. Completed by blue cuffs on the sleeve, this is a classic kit in the making.
Let’s hope Panama qualify from the group stage so we can see more of it throughout the summer.
