08-09 Denmark home football shirt
Denmark have released their new Adidas home kit that they will be wearing for the qualification for the World Cup in 2010.
The new strip is following the standard Adidas format for the new national strips with the Adidas badge in the centre of the chest. The kit is in Denmark’s traditional red colour with the white Adidas stripes on the arm.
Denmark unfortunately failed to qualify for Euro 2008 finishing 4th in group F behind Spain, Northern, Ireland and archrivals Sweden. This is the first Euros tournament that Denmark have failed to qualify for since 1980 when it was held in Italy. Denmark’s highlight in the Euros was when they won the tournament in 1992 when they only gained entry to the tournament when Yugoslavia were disqualified as a result of the Yugoslav wars.
Denmark’s new strip is available to buy from http://www.uksoccershop.com/products/8248.html where you can also get any name and number you wish on the shirt including Agger, Lovenkrands and Bendtner.
