Linfield 2016/17 Home Kit Unveiled
Linfield, runners-up in the NIFL Premiership for the last three seasons, have announced a new kit 5-year kit deal with Umbro.
With 51 league titles to their name, Linfield gave the kit a debut in Thursday’s Europa League match against Cork City from the Irish Republic. The Blues are on the back foot following the 0 – 1 home defeat. The second leg at Cork’s Turners Cross stadium on Thursday 7th July.
Linfield 2016/17 Home Kit
This is the Linfield home kit for the 2016/17 season.
The kit relies on the club’s traditional red, white and blue colours.
The shirt is predominantly royal blue. Umbro are almost uniquely for the world of football kits, the manufacturer and primary shirt sponsor. Their website address features across the midriff of the shirt, below their logo and the club’s crest.
The collar, a round crew neck, is a thick white band whilst the cuffs feature red and white thick bands. Rather like Adidas, Umbro has a stripe running down from the armpit to the hem.
The shorts are white whilst the socks are red with a white band on the turnover.
It’s a straightforward kit template from Umbro. The clean design is refreshing when compared to some of the other kit designs we see!
