Deportivo La Coruna 16-17 Kits Released
Following on from their magnificent third kit, Deportivo La Coruna have unveiled their home and away kits for the 2016/17 season.
Whilst the third kit was an homage to the previous kits, the celebrations of the club’s 110th anniversary are much more subtle on these strips.
DEPORTIVO LA CORUNA 2016-17 HOME KIT
This is the kit Deportivo will wear for home games during the 2016/17 season.
The familiar blue and white stripes have been given a tweak by Italian kit manufacturer Lotto.
Two wide white stripes on either side of the front, travel down the back of the shirt’s body. A central blue stripe follows the same pattern and is matched by two blue stripes on the side of the body.
With blue and white striped sleeves, the symmetrical pattern of the design is completed.
The polo style collar comes with a blue-button neckline. Under the collar at the back is a small motif celebrating the club’s anniversary.
DEPORTIVO LA CORUNA 2016-17 AWAY KIT
For their away matches, Deportivo La Coruna will wear this kit during the 2016/17 season.
The shirt embodies the colours the club has worn during their 110-year existence.
A white shirt body is traversed by a light blue sash, travelling downward from the right shoulder to left waist. With a y-shape collar – the left half is white, the right black – it is a unique design to SuperDepor.
The sleeves are black joining seamlessly into a shoulder panel which leads from the collar. Light blue cuffs featuring the club’s logo, complete the shirt.
The trio of kits are one of the best anywhere in the world. Not just for this season but for many years. It’s uncommon for a club and manufacturer to nail all three designs at the same time but hats off to Depor and Lotto, that’s exactly what they’ve managed to do.
