Napoli 2016/17 Third Kit Unveiled
Hot on the heels of their new home kit, Napoli have released the second part of their kit trilogy. We await just the away kit which is expected to be white.
It’s not surprising that hasn’t surfaced yet; the club are busy trying to dissuade Gonzalo Higuain from making a move to bitter rivals, Juventus. The €94m fee has been agreed but Napoli haven’t given up hope of keep the Argentine striker. Yet.
NAPOLI 2016/17 THIRD KIT
The Neapolitans third kit offers a stark contrast to the lightness of its sibling. The black base colour is offset by the gold trim displaying the Kappa logo, coupled with the red and white of three sponsors logo and the golden player identification font on the back.
Standing out most prominently is the sky blue club crest, a beacon on the left breast with the white ‘N’ readily identifiable.
The shorts and socks will be black.
With the rest of Serie A struggling to find sponsorship deals, some might say it’s greedy to have three on one shirt. Others will complain that a perfectly fine shirt design has been destroyed by commercialisation. Tour de France and Giro d’Italia teams will simply wonder what the fuss is all about.
