Zenit 2016/17 Kits Launched
FC Zenit have launched their 2016/17 kit range. The Russian club, sponsored by energy giant Gazprom, unveiled their kits on an oil rig! The platform, “Prirazlomnaja”, is in the Prirazlomnoye oil field and operated by Gazprom which is the best use of a sponsor’s facilities by any club so far this summer!
FC Zenit 2016/17 Home Kit
This is the home kit FC Zenit will wear next season:
The all-blue kit features a bespoke design on the body of Nike’s favoured template. Whilst the sleeves and shoulders are a solid darker blue, the collar is a lighter shade and at the front matches the tone of the body.
It’s here that there’s a twist. The front and back of the shirts are covered in angular darker blue pinstripes running from the right upper body to the lower left hem. A sash effect is created by a series of the stripes from the right shoulder downwards.
The shorts and socks are both the same blue as the body of the shirt.
The goalkeeper’s kit is all yellow for both home and away games.
FC Zenit 2016/17 Away Kit
On their travels, FC Zenit will wear this kit next season:
The shirt and socks are both white with ice blue socks.
The shirt follows the same template as the home kit. This time, the angular stripes are ice blue, as are the shoulders and sleeves. The collar is light at the front whilst the reverse is darker blue. On the back, as with the home kit, the word “Zenit” appears in cyrillic script.
