Wigan Athletic Away Kits Released
Newly promoted Wigan Athletic are preparing for life in the Championship. Next season’s home kit from Kappa has already been released and it’s accompanied by the newly-released away and third kits.
Wigan Athletic 2016/17 Away Kit
This is the Wigan Athletic away kit for 2016/17:
The shirt is turquoise with light grey trim in a soothing design. Across the body of the shirt are tonal turquoise stripes, running parallel under the logo of sponsor, Intersport.
Above that logo is maker’s mark and club crest, both in white with turquoise background.
The sleeve cuffs are thick grey bands leading from similarly coloured shoulder stripes. Completing the kit will be turquoise shorts and socks with the grey trim.
Wigan Athletic 2016/17 Third Kit
This is the third kit Wigan Athletic will wear during the forthcoming 2016/17 season:
The kit made it’s debut in the recent pre-season friendly against Manchester United. It was Jose Mourinho’s first match in charge of the Red Devils.
A 0 – 2 defeat didn’t dull the reception the kit received. It has a stylish red upper band and blue lower, across the chest matching the corporate colours of sponsors, Intersport. Long gone are the controversial days of Coventry City’s ‘T’ designed shirts which matched those of sponsors, Talbot Cars.
Completing the kit is white shorts and socks.
