Italy 2016-17 Away Kit Revealed

A decade on from their last World Cup triumph, Italy have issued a new away kit for the World Cup qualifiers which begin next weekend.

For the neutral, the final was memorable only for Zindine Zidane’s lunacy when his last action in a competitive match was to headbutt Marco Matterazzi.

As ever, Puma presents a white shirt, with blue shorts for the Azzurri.

The shirt features tonal evenly-spaced white stripes with navy trim. The collar is a white v-neck with a blue fill. The cuffs and hemline are navy with similarly coloured piping across the shoulders.

Warming up pre-match, Italy will wear these shirts:

It’s a straightforward Puma shirt, reminiscent of the Arsenal third kit worn yesterday at Vicarage Road. The fundamental difference is the use gold accents and trim instead of the Gunners neon yellow.

It’s a stylish pair of kits from Italy and we would expect nothing less. And, more importantly, a fitting commemoration of events a decade ago in Germany.
