It’s English football’s greatest story that will ever be told. Leicester City, embroiled in a relegation fight last season, were crowned this season’s Barclays Premier League champions.

The trophy will be presented to them on Sunday’s home game against Everton, a match in which they may debut their new home kit for next season. In keeping with this season, it is all-blue with subtle changes from Puma in what is sure to be a big seller.

The crown of their sponsor, King Power, is a fitting tribute to the club’s first ever league title. A jacquard pattern has been introduced into the top with a winged collar completing a striking simple design on the shirt.

Midfielder Andy King, the only footballer to have won the Premier League, Championship and League One titles with the same club, said:

Again, PUMA have created a kit which looks fantastic. The piping on the front and back which offers hints of gold looks great and will help us stand out on the pitch.

We cannot wait to walk out onto the pitch in the shirt at the start of the 2016-17 Premier League season, as we defend our Premier League title.

The blue shorts and socks complete a kit of few changes from this season. It’s the same logic manager Claudio Ranieri will hope to apply to his squad this summer, keeping hold of footballers of the year, Riyhad Mahrez and Jamie Vardy, whilst strengthening ahead of the club’s debut in the Champions League.

The kit can be bought instore at the King Power stadium and other club outlets around the city now and goes on sale online on 25 May 2016.
