Athletic Bilbao Reveal 2018/19 Home Kit by New Balance
Yesterday we showed you Valencia’s latest away kit. Today, it’s Athletico Bilbao’s 2018/19 home kit. They might be in different parts of Spain and have each finished in different parts of the table (Bilbao’s campaign not being quite so successful), but each have positive, well-designed kits that make next season one to really watch for both clubs.
Bilbao ended their season in 16th place, behind Levante and only above Leganes on point difference.
The top is in the classic colours of red and white – in a vertical striped pattern which continues around the body and stopping at the sleeves.
The sleeves themselves are red, enhancing the dynamics of New Balance’s design.
The neckline of the kit top is black, giving the kit top some much-needed variety and matching the accompanying black shorts and socks. While the kit doesn’t seek to do anything entirely new or different like the Arsenal kit on show yesterday, it does really look good.
Next season might see the Lions climb the table and finish within the top teams, however it might be worse. One thing is for certain – this simple, effective kit by New Balance will surely be welcomed at the San Mames stadium.
