New Football Kits

Stevenage Release their 2018/19 Home and Away Kit by Macron

Stevenage FC have just announced that they’re selling Ben Wilmot to Watford for a club record fee. They’ve also released their new home and away kits by Macron. While we have seen a couple of Macron’s designs in the past, fans seem to really admire the thought that has gone into creating two wonderful designs. Furthermore, we have never seen a series of kit release photos more fun than those released by the club. Both Alex Revell and Ronnie Henry look happy to be there. It looks like a fun event, rather than just a contractual obligation.

The Boro finished in 16th place at the end of their 2017/18 season. While this might not have been a great result, their latest kits give the club a reason to be optimistic for next season. The simple design decisions contribute to an effective, bold look, and one that we love.

The home kit fades from white to red, from the bottom up. The fade is split into lines which fills into red across the shoulders. This design gives the jersey a positive shape and allows the contrast to be seen between this and the sleeves.

The sleeves share the fade in pattern. However instead of stripes, they feature dissolving pixels. It is a really positive look and completes the jersey nicely.

The collar is black around the back and white on the front. Macron have decided against the classic collar, keeping the design sleek and modern.

The away kit is equally stunning. Sharing the same pattern and shape, however the colours used are a sky blue and charcoal.

Here at UK Soccer Shop we hope that Stevenage can have a great 2018/19 season. By combining the togetherness of the club, this new kit, and a little touch of magic, the team really do stand a great chance of success.
