SS Lazio Reveal Their 2018/19 Home Kit by Macron
One of our favourite designers, here at UK Soccer Shop is Macron. Their kit designs always break the mould and challenge the status quo. Okay, not always. But they do surprise us with designs that are incredibly special. Lazio’s 2018/19 home kit is no different…because it does something different.
SS Lazio are an Italian club, managed by Simone Inzaghi. They play at the Stadio Olimpico and finished their 2017/18 campaign in fifth place of Serie A and won the Supercoppa Italiana. They’re a club with extensive history and compete at the very highest level of Italian football. Hoping that they can now push for a top four place next season, the club have joined up with Macron to craft a really beautiful away kit.
As you may well have gathered, we at UK Soccer Shop love this kit. What do you think?
The jersey itself is Light blue. Fading from almost white at the top down to sky blue at the bottom. Separating these two gradual shades is a large eagle in dark blue. Spread all the way across to the sleeves this bird also features on the club’s crest and is seeon once again at the bottom of the shorts.
The neckline is a semi-classic collar in sky blue. It doesn’t feature a button at the front, instead, there is a tiny glimpse of sky-blue once again.
The nape of the kit top recognises the club’s heritage. There are the words: “SS Lazio 1900.” This date signifies the founding of the club and it is a feature that fans will surely enjoy.
Whether the club can now push ontop the top spots in their 2018/19 season is yet to be seen. Italian fans will be itching to get some footballing action that they can get behind. We can’t wait to see them perform next season.
