Sydney FC Reveal Their 2018/19 Away Kit by Puma

The Bright White Kit from Sydney FC

Australia’s an exciting place. It’s filled with some of the most dangerous animals on the planet and a huge amount of inhospitable land. It’s also the home of some exciting football. Yesterday we brought you the away kit from the Central Coast Mariners. They’re a team who have signed olympic sprinter and all-round fast man Usain Bolt to drag them off the bottom of the table. Furthermore, a couple of weeks back we showed you Sydney FC’s home kit. The jersey brought with it two perfectly contrasted shades of blue and plenty of stylistic flair. Now we at UK Soccer Shop want to take a look at their latest away kit.

But first, let’s take a look at their previous season.

They won the league. That’s about all there is to it. They fought tirelessly to end up with 64 points from 27 games and pushed the Newcastle Jets down into second place. While Sydney’s 2018/19 season hasn’t kicked off yet, Graham Arnold will hope that his team can deliver the club’s third consecutive title.

On to the kit. The body is white and acts as the perfect blank canvas for the club’s crest, their main sponsor, the league’s badge, and Puma’s logo. While the front is a little crowded, the colours certainly compliment the sky-blue sleeves.

The neckline is a simple one. It features no collar but is tapered with sky blue. Furthermore, the bottom of each sleeve is tapered with white. This completes the kit nicely and adds character and depth to the design.

Currently the club is in the news because of their goalkeeper. He’s looking to the future, after his footballing career. He’s currently training to be a primary school teacher. Good luck to him and good luck to Sydney FC for their 2018/19 season.
