Here at UK Soccer Shop, we not only like staring at stunning kits and concept designs, we’re also interested in the most practical footballing solutions when it comes to boots. We’ve all been playing football and a boot lace has come undone. It’s an annoyance. The Umbro Medusae 3 changes this idea. No more stooping over muddy laces with freezing cold hands, scrambling to get the laces tied before the game restarts. Now, players won’t even have to think about whether their laces will come undone, because they don’t have any.
The Umbro Medusae 3 (s) are the first boots from Umbro to be laceless. Across the front is a thin turquoise line. Beneath the line is leather with a physical pattern. Above the line, breathable fabric allows the boots to be able to breathe efficiently.
On the outside of the boot is a large white Umbro logo. The logo stands out on the dark leather background. The deubré on the back of the boot is a simple black one. These dark colourings on the top of the Umbro Medusae 3 (s) contrast nicely with the white underneath. Furthermore, turquoise studs match the line running across the top, giving the boot its necessary completed look.
Our only issue with the boot? It’s been marketed by Portuguese Pepe. This author isn’t a fan of his.
