Sevilla FC’s 2019/20 Away Concept Kit has Arrived.
Right Now, They’re First in La Liga. Is Sevilla’s New Concept Kit a Title- Winning Design?
Here at UK Soccer Shop we’ve loved bringing you the latest concept kits. These designs rarely materialise into anything more than just wishful thinking. Earlier today we showed you the latest Valencia CF concept kits. They were eye-catching and carefully designed. While Valencia is sat in 13th position, let’s turn our attention to the team that’s leading La Liga. Sevilla FC.
That’s right, the club is currently sat in first place, above Barcelona and Atletico Madrid by one point. While Pablo Machín, his team and the fans will have their attention firmly focused on the 2018/19 campaign, and securing their top position, our attention is drifting towards the kits of next season. Let’s take a look at Sevilla FC’s 2019/20 away concept kit.
The colouring is yellow. This is a departure from the current red jersey, but it’s certainly one that catches our eyes. Down the centre of the club’s concept kit is a red digital pattern. We’ve seen this pattern on other Nike kits during the 2018/19 season, most notably being Paris Saint Germain’s home kit. It’s a pattern that adds some modern flair and depth to the design. Either Side of this digitally dividing pattern is the club’s crest and Nike’s logo. Our only issue is that the pattern runs straight through Sevilla FC’s main sponsor. The sponsor interruption is the opposite of Plymouth Argyle’s three kits, that each highlight the club’s main sponsor, Ginster’s.
Across the shoulders and onto the sleeves we see Nike’s digital pattern once again, in a darker shade of yellow. Finally, the nape of the jersey has been utilised with a yellow rectangle, bordered with red.
We think this kit is eye-catching and vibrant. Certainly a positive alternative to the existing home kit.
