The New Nike Mercurial Vapor 360 Football Boot Has Arrived
We’ve Got That Friday Feeling. Here’s the Latest Nike Mercurial Football Boots.
This week has been full of concept kits and football boots. We saw what Barcelona’s 2019/20 concept kit looks like, then we saw Umbro’s first ever laceless boot and we also took a look at New Balance’s luminous green Furons. Like the Furons, the boots that we want to bring you today are also luminous green. The new Nike Mercurial boots are arguably more eye-catching, and a little more sleek than the New Balances. Let’s take a look.
The whole of the top side of the Nike Mercurials is luminous green, including the laces. Running across the entirety of the boot is a physical pattern. It’s a pattern that’s similar to the digital design that features on many of Nike’s 2018/19 football kits. On the outside edge of these boots is a large Nike Swoosh. The Swoosh is given a faded appearance through the use of the physical pattern.
Another Nike Swoosh appears on the toe of these Nike Mercurial boots. it too is studded with the physical pattern, giving it a barcode-like effect. A large ‘M’ appears on the back of the boot. Within the letter is the word ‘Mercurial.’
While the top side of the boot is excellent and the inside’s breathable fabric ensures a player’s absolute comfort, it is the underside that we find truly excellent. The front of the underside is black. An angular shape, like the grabber at an amusement arcade slinks around the studs which are also black with thin green arrows. Also within this black shape is another Nike logo. The underside heel is also black. This black-green colour contrast is an excellent one.
The boot’s flexible material and lightweight under plate ensures complete practicality. Combine the practicality with an excellent aesthetic design, you’ve got the new Nike Mercurial football boots.
