Villarreal Has Officially Released Their 2018/19 Third Kit by Joma

Earlier today, here at UK Soccer Shop, we brought you some new futsal boots from Munich, Athletic Bilbao’s latest away kit and now it’s time for Villarreal’s third jersey. When we first brought you the club’s home and away kits, it was the middle of June. Britain was experiencing a heatwave that seemed to last forever, and the England football team was actually doing well in the World Cup. Before we take a look at the third kit design, let’s see how the club is shaping up this 2018/19 season and what we thought about the club’s home and away kits.
Right now, as of writing this, Villarreal are sat in 16th place. This is one position and one point ahead of Bilbao. While fans won’t worry too much about the prospect of relegation, Javier Calleja will be urging his team to rise up the table. Their next league game is against Alaves, a challenging game, but one that Villarreal will hope to win.
What did we think of the home and away kits?
The home kit is yellow and the away jersey is purple. Both provide a bold, eye-catching design with plenty of design character. Thin, vertical lines run up the front of each kit.
So now Villarreal’s third kit. The colouring is black with a fade-in red running up from the bottom. The bordering at the bottom of each sleeve is half black, half red. Each of the club elements stands out effectively on the black section, while the red firey pattern adds depth and character.
The neckline is a simple one, without a built-up collar, however the front does have a section of red material. This third kit is finished with black shorts. Furthermore, in our opinion, Villarreal’s third jersey is an excellent addition.
