AC Milan Revealed Their 2018/19 Home Kit by Puma

Yesterday we brought you Napoli’s home kit. It featured an out-of-the-box pattern incorporating the club’s colouring and the Panther spirit. Today we want to look at another giant of Italian football. They finished in sixth place with 64 points, so this season AC Milan will want to climb the table and at least finish higher than their rivals at Inter. The club beat Barcelona 1-0 in the International Champions Cup so is this to be seen as a promising start or a very lucky one? Furthermore, looking at the stats, with Barcelona’s 20 shots and having had 69% of the possession, it might have just been a lucky result.

Nevertheless, to keep fans’ confidence high, the club has teamed up with the kit designing masters at Puma to craft a home kit that is reflective of the club’s heritage and the overall design for which the club is known for.

The jersey is made up of a number of vertical, black and red stripes. These create a blank canvas for the club’s crest, Puma’s logo, and the club’s main sponsor: Fly Emirates.

The sleeves are half-and-half. Each feature both red and black and adds character to this straight-forward kit.

The neckline is perhaps the most interesting and noteworthy element of this kit design. It features a built up semi-classic collar with a single button at the front.

On the nape of AC Milan’s jersey is a very small red devil. This is the club’s mascot and fits in nicely with the overall design.

It should be worth noting that the kit consists of Puma’s cutting-edge Dry Cell technology. This allows the player to feel completely cool and composed even under the most intense pressures.

AC Milan’s latest home kit design has been mainly positively received by fans. It is tricky to reject a home kit. Especially if it comes with a side of heritage like this one.
