Burnley 2016-17 Away Kit Released

Premier League new boys Burnley have unveiled their 2016-17 away kit. The Turf Moor club gave it a debut during their 1 – 1 draw at Morecambe on 19th July.

The Clarets are tipped by many people to return to the Championship at the end of the season. Sean Dyche, briefly linked with replacing Roy Hodgson in the England job, has already been busy in the transfer window. Iceland international Joey Gudmundsson and Nick Pope have arrived from Charlton with the club still keen to bring in Jeff Hendrick from Derby County.

The club has taken their colours of claret and blue and reversed them for the away shirt.

The sky blue body and sleeves are accompanied by claret underarm panelling with a solid shoulder stripe. The round-necked collar is claret at the front and dark blue at the back. The cuffs are dark blue.

The reverse of the shirt is sky blue.

The kit is completed by claret shorts and socks.

It’s a straightforward kit which supporters will no doubt be quite fond of. Whether they remember the season that way might be a different matter.
