While the kit tops retain the green and white horizontal hoops, NB’s Dry Technology has been utilised to ensure that moisture is drawn away from the skin, ensuring that players feel comfortable throughout their competitive games.

The top draws inspiration from the kit used 115 years ago, when the famous hoops first appeared on the kit tops, this is shown with the button close at the neck of the jersey.

It is interesting to note that the hoops only cover half of the sleeves, leaving a space of white, just under the armpits. Furthermore, there is a subtle tartan underneath the hoops throughout.

About Celtic’s new kit, New Balance Football’s General Manager, Kenny McCallum said: “Every time we work with Celtic to design the club’s kit collection, we work hard to represent the iconic history of the club and their relentless performance on the pitch.”
