Eibar Release Stunning New Third Kit

Sociedad Deportiva Eibar, or SD Eibar as they are commonly referred to, host the smallest stadium in La Liga. Hailing from Gipuzkoa in Euskal Herria, the autonomous Basque Country.

Last season’s mid-table finish has given the supporter-owned club the appetite for top-flight football although repeating this weekend’s performance at Espanyol will make it harder work than it should be. 3 – 0 ahead before half-time, away from home? A manager’s dream.

If it turned into a bad dream at 2 – 3, Caicedo’s dismissal with fifteen minutes ago left them ahead against ten men. But a dramatic afternoon wasn’t over with Espanyol’s equaliser coming deep into injury time. It’s enough to drive a manager to despair.

Tangerine, the kit features dark blue trim in a stunning contrast between the two colours. Puma’s logo is placed in the shoulder panels which lead to the blue cuffs. Some have criticised the club for the third kit being issued when the yellow kit would have sufficed in the Catalan capital.

The club’s home kit is the familiar red and blue although more familiar to many with other clubs. It’s a distinctive interpretation.

The Basque flag features below the back collarline.

The away kit meanwhile, is yellow. A straightforward and stylish design which clashed with the officials colours in the RCDE Stadium.

A fine trio of kits for the Spanish side!
