FC Ingolstadt 2016/17 Home Kit Released

For a club formed in 2004/05, the rise of FC Ingolstadt from the Oberliga Bayern (IV) to the Bundesliga is nothing short of meteoric. And in defiance of expectations, they finished in a creditable 11th place in their debut season in the top flight.

FC Ingolstadt 2016/17 Home Kit

This is the home kit which FC Ingolstadt will wear for the 2016/17 season.

Worn as a preview for the final 2015/16 Bundesliga fixture, Die Schanzer will wear an all-red kit for the coming campaign.

Adidas has produced a two-tone red design. The body of the shirt is a light scarlet with a gradiented darker red broad sash effect created by several thinner diagonal lines.

On the shoulder, deep red patches, matching the colour of the centre of the sash effect, houses Adidas’ trademark Three Stripes, in white. Their length is curtailed by a solid white bar across the top half of the sleeves.

The dual-coloured collar is v-shaped with a white lower band topped with deep red piping. The shirt is finished with a white hemline at the bottom.

On the reverse, the club’s name straddles the shoulders with their nickname, Schanzer, featuring just below the collar.

The shorts and socks will be red with white trim.
