FC Zurich 2016/17 Kits Launched
FC Zurich, 120 years old today, would have preferred to be preparing for their anniversary season in the Swiss Super League. Instead, last season’s 10th place condemned them to a new future in the Swiss Challenge League.
It wasn’t all bad news. The Swiss Cup returned to the club for the second time in four years with the win over Lugano scant consolation for the beaten finalists finishing one point ahead of them in the league.
The Champions Cup semi-finals of 1976-77 where they were beaten 6 – 1 on aggregate by Liverpool, seem a world away.
FC Zurich 2016/17 Home Kit
This is the home kit FC Zurich will wear during the 2016/17 season:
The home shirt is predominantly white with sky blue stripes emerging from the solid shoulder and sleeves.
Nike’s Swoosh is in black on the right breast with the club crest on the left. Without sponsors logos, the kit has a clean design which is pleasing on the eye.
White shorts and socks complete the kit.
FC Zurich 2016/17 Away Kit
This is the FC Zurich away kit for 2016/17:
The all-navy kit comes with white pinstripes down the front of the shirt and on the sleeves.
A curved v-neck on navy gives way to two plain shoulder panels. The logos are predominantly white with the club’s crest featuring gold lions either side.
Navy shorts and socks complete the kit.
