Galatasaray Issue Striking 2017-18 Home Kit
With two games remaining in the Turkish Spor Toto Super Lig, Galatasaray sit fourth, locked in battle with Fenerbahce for third place. Despite this, plans are already afoot to raid the Premier League to improve their squad for 2017-18.
They have also released their home kit for that campaign, unusually early. Optimism is high for Turkey’s most successful team and they are on course for a rematch with Arsenal in a repeat of the 2000 UEFA Cup final. The two clubs are in the Europa League next season although Gala may need to negotiate the qualifying rounds first.

Nike calls the colours, “vivid orange” and “pepper red”. It’s an unusual take on the club’s traditional halved shirts. The usual template of contrasting shoulder panels has been dropped in favour of one sleeve in each colour.
Half and half scarves may be the bane of football supporters lives but Nike uses the technique on the chest band. The red contrasts fiercely against the orange half of the shirt body and vice versa.
Pepper red shorts and socks complete the kit. A vertical vivid orange band with red pinstripes sits on the leg of the shorts. Meanwhile the socks feature vivid orange motifs.
