TSG 1899 Hoffenheim will be an unfamiliar name in the hat when the draw for the final qualifying round of next season’s Champions League.
2016-17 was a great season for Julian Nagelsmann’s squad. As well as achieving their highest-ever Bundesliga finish, they were the last unbeaten team in Europe’s top five leagues. While much is made of the club’s wealthy backing, it’s still an impressive record.

This is the Hoffenheim 2017-18 home kit:
Debuted in the goalless draw against Augsburg on the final day of the 2016-17 season, Hoffenheim’s usual blue takes on an unusual hue this time around. Tonal stripes run down the body of the shirt while the sleeves feature white piping.
Lotto took a leaf out of Nike’s book, utilising the contrasting sleeve design favoured by the American giants. The individuality comes from the gradiented design with a darker blue fading into the more familiar royal blue toward the bottom.
The royal blue shorts feature a darker stripe on the side, as well as a band around the bottom of each leg. The socks, again, are royal blue with white and dark blue trim.
Ignore Hoffenheim in the Champions League is not an option with this kit design!
