The iconic black and blue stripes return. The Nerazzurri haven’t contemplated any change to the strip which has become internationally famous. The only time it hasn’t been worn were in the pre-war years of the 1920s when the ruling fascist party forced a change of name to SS Ambrosiana and wore a kit based around the flag of Milan.

Those years aside, it’s always been blue for the sky and black for the night. This time the stripes hold a circular pattern within them, across the front and back of the shirt. The collar, a curved v-neck, is a hem for each of the evenly spaced stripes rising from the chest, and from the black shoulder panels which lead onto similarly coloured sleeves.

The Nike Swoosh, seen on the shirts since 1998, and the Pirelli logo, primary shirt sponsors since 1995, are both carried in yellow on the chest. The club crest, with the gold star above it, sits on the left breast.

The black shorts feature the club crest and yellow Nike Swoosh but the stunning update is the yellow socks.

With black lines ridged across the calf and the Nike logo on the front, they create a visually stunning contrast to the dominant black and blue of the rest of the strip.

It’s a fantastic look of which we’re great fans.
