Inter Milan’s 2018/19 Home Kit by Nike Revealed
They’re looking set to finish fifth in Italy’s Serie A. Not the best result for such a huge club, but certainly not the worst. This result pales in comparison to the shocking 7-1 defeat Germany dealt Brazil at the last world cup. (We realise this is irrelevant but we are just so excited for Russia 2018). As we were saying, Inter Milan have failed to finish above Juventus once again, but with their latest home kit from Nike, will the 018/19 season be the one to do it?
The colour scheme of the kit is a simple black and blue. Running up vertically are a number of medium blue stripes on a black background (or vice versa if you want to be playful). Rising up from the bottom in the blue of this kit is a string of diamonds, almost forming a chain, giving the kit some depth and allowing the kit to stand out both from afar and up close. The colouring and pattern allows each of the featured logos to stand out and not be lost in the design.
As well as the diamond line that runs up from the bottom, there are a number of horizontal, physical lines which just add to the subtle frills.
Across the sleeves of this nicely designed jersey is the pattern that we’ve seen with several Nike kits. The pattern is seemingly digital: of sound bars cutting into the fabric and creating quite an edgy theme.
While the kit is stunningly simple in its colouring main pattern, and finishing touches, the kit is also effective in retaining the club’s tradition and pushing on for something more bold and unique.
While we can’t be sure if Inter will finish above Juve next season, looking at the previous five years, it looks a little unlikely. Despite this sombre tone that we’ve accidentally put on this kit reveal, we are confident that this kit will do everything in its power to push for the title (the kit can’t actually DO anything).
