Mumbai City, the Indian Super League giants, have stylish home and away kits for the new season. Currently sitting second in the ISL having finished 7th and 6th in the league’s first two seasons, they are hoping for an improved campaign this time around.
Mumbai City 2016/17 Home Kit
This is the Mumbai City home kit for the 2016/17 season:
The all-blue home kit is made by Puma. On the face of it, the kit designers have issued a straightforward strip but close up, the nuances of the shirt become clear. Running from the right shoulder to left hemline on the waist, is a tonal blue stripe.
A darker blue band runs around the collar with the traditional orange trim on the inside of the collar. The shorts and socks are both royal blue with minimal trim.
Mumbai City 2016-17 Away Kit
This is the Mumbai City away kit for the 2016/17 season:
As with the home kit, the devil is in the detail. Swapping the blue for a white base colour, this time there is a faded blue sash running from right shoulder to left waist. The trim is blue on the cuffs whilst the round-necked is white.
It’s a strong pairing in terms of the kits and deserving good performances on the pitch.
