Nantes 2016/17 Kits Unveiled
FC Nantes, 14th in last season’s Ligue Un, have revealed their 2016/17 kits.
Things aren’t shaping to be much better with a single goal home defeat last weekend to recently relegated Aston Villa in a pre-season. A midweek win over Lorient cheered the mood with upcoming matches against Athletic Bilbao and Empoli to further lift their spirits.
Or dampen them but we’ll look at the bright side…
NANTES 2016/17 HOME KIT
This is the Nantes home kit for the upcoming 2016/17 season:
The shirt is yellow with green trim. Umbro has placed green stripes down the side of the body. On the underside of the shirt cuffs sits a green splash.
Umbro continue their summer design fad of printing co-ordinates of the stadium on the inside of the shirt. In yellow font on a green splash, just to continue the colour scheme.
The shorts are yellow with green trim. In a surprise design twist, the docks are yellow with green trim.
NANTES 2016/17 AWAY KIT
This is the Nantes 2016/17 away kit:
The away kit is a stylish dark green with gold accent combination.
As with the home shirt, the geographical co-ordinates are printed on the inside of the back collar. The elaborate club crest is given added elegance with the gold colouring.
The shorts and socks are both dark green with gold trim.
Whilst the Canaries live up to their nickname with the home strip, the away kit is elegance personified
