Netherlands Release 2016-2017 Away Shirt
The power of purple!
Netherlands have picked a bad time not to be going to a major tournament because this new away kit is outstanding!
No, we will not have the Dutch at this year’s Euro 2016 but if there is one consolation for Holland fans is that this kit couldn’t look any better.
A bold purple with turquoise detail makes this shirt stand out. It may not be your typical idea of a Dutch shirt, but it is a bold concept by Nike.
The turquoise Nike Swoosh and Netherlands logo add to the shirts consistency and allure.
The new Netherlands 2016/2017 away shirt takes from the new Vapor kit template with a ‘superhero’ like texture on the jersey. Writing stitched into both sleeves reads Oranje Leeuwen (Orange Lions) which is a popular nickname for the team.
The shirt will be accompanied by purple shorts and turquoise socks rounding out the whole kit perfectly.
It’s a shame it won’t be on our TV sets this summer!
