The long time rumour that Barcelona will have a horizontal stripes shirt is official. Regardless that many consider this an insult to the tradition of the club, Nike went forward with this design and for a year the blaugranas will wear this shirt. It should be noted, however, that this design was used in other disciplines in which it competes Barcelona (rugby, basketball, for example), so it is not 100% new.

Anyway, accepted or not by their fans, the 2015/16 kit will present blue and red horizontal stripes front and back, with a golden yellow stripe on the sides. At least, the traditional colors of Catalonia will be included in the collar. Inside this collar, will have the phrase Més Que Un Club (More than a club) that is written at the Camp Nou stands.

The tradition will be more respected in the away shirt, but not completely. On the back only it will have the colors of the catalonian Senyera flag, while the front will be fully yellow. The stripes on the sides in this shirt will be blue, extending to the shorts of a lighter tone, and combining with the details (brand logo, sponsors and collar) also blue.
