They might still be involved in the exciting race for the Premier League title, but Chelsea have already begun planning for the next season. Kit manufacturers have unveiled the Chelsea Home Shirt 2014 2015 which will be released on 30th April and worn in Jose Mourinho’s home match with Norwich on May 4th.
Chelsea kits are among Adidas best selling football shirts and so it is little surprise that they have wasted little time in releasing the jersey ahead of the new season.
Chelsea have fans across the globe. From the Americas, to Africa and South-East Asia the club has done excellently in their marketing over the past ten years to ensure they become a global brand.
The Chelsea home shirt is the traditional blue, with a thin hooped pattern and will be worn with blue shorts and either blue or white socks. The jersey is once again sponsored by Samsung, whose logo is on the chest.
Adidas have released a teaser video for the new kit, featuring Blues stars Fernando Torres, Oscar, Eden Hazard, Gary Cahill and Petr Cech, although there was no role for either Frank Lampard or John Terry, who are both out of contract in the summer.
