After 12 years of wearing Adidas clothing, the Nigeria Football Federation signed a contract to wear Nike from 2015 until a least 2018. The agreement signed by the brand and the federation includes team kits and training equipment and apparel for Nigerian national football players at every level, and also products for the fans to show their support for the team.

In the coming month of may Nike will present the firsts kits for Nigeria, which will be used for the first time in the U-20 World Cup, that will take place in New Zealand. The contract extends until the 2018 Russia World Cup, expecting nigerian participation in that tournament.

Nike had already been the brand of Nigeria on the successful period 1994-2003, in which qualified for the first time to the World Cup, won the golden medal at Olympics, played at the FIFA Confederations Cup and more remarkable records. In this new period, Nike and Nigeria will team up attempting to get similar results.
