Real Madrid Launch 2016/17 Away Kit
At the same time as launching their home kit, Real Madrid released their 2016/17 away kit. Next season’s sees a return to a mulberry kit but this time in a brighter shade; it stands out from the crowd.
Mulberry is the colour of the band on the club crest visible on the white home kits. This time around, Adidas has reversed that colour scheme. The crest is the same colour as the shirt with a white diagonal band.
Real Madrid 2016/17 Away Kit
This is the Real Madrid away kit for the upcoming 2016/17 season.
The shirt is a clean design, completed with white trim. The shorts and socks follow through in the same Mulberry colour as the shirt. Again, both have white stripes but unusually, the socks have a thick white band around the calf. The club’s initials, “RMCF”, feature at the bottom of the shin.
Adidas has a formula for it’s kit releases. The major clubs which opt for the trademark Three Stripes down the side on the home kit, find them placed across the shoulders on the away kit. The cuffs on the shirt are white, as is the collar which is a straightforward round neck.
On the reverse of the collar, there are alternating white and mulberry blocks with the words “REAL” and “MADRID”.
It’s a bold design from Adidas and one which is certainly hard to forget!
