Sporting Lisbon Unveil 2016/17
Portuguese giants, Sporting Club de Portugal, more commonly known as Sporting Lisbon, recently celebrated the 110th anniversary of their formation. They have watched with immense pride as two of their alumni, Renato Sanches and Cristiano Ronaldo, have joined with four current squad members, to drive Portugal into the final of Euro 2016.
Sporting Lisbon 2016/17 Home Kit
This is the Sporting Lisbon kit which will be worn for home matches during the 2016/17 season.
The vibrant green hoops are once more in evidence. Worn first in 1931, the hoops cross the front of the shirt’s body and lower part of the back. On the sleeves, the green and white is out of step with the body of the shirt.
The collar and trim is, as ever, black. The collar, is y-shaped with black wings whilst the sleeve cuffs are thin black bands. On the upper back is a solid green panel for player identification, as well as the name of secondary shirt sponsor, Super Bock. NOS, the shirt’s primary sponsor, have their logo in a white panel on the chest.
The kit is finished with black shorts and white socks.
Sporting Lisbon 2016/17 Away Kit
This is the away kit Sporting Lisbon have selected for the coming 2016/17 season.
The base colour is black with flourescent green trim. Underneath is a white lining which shows below the green v-neckline on the front of the shirt.
On each sleeve is a thin green band, with a similarly coloured splash at the bottom left hand side of the shirt.
Sporting Lisbon 2016/17 Third Kit
Sporting have opted for a vivid third strip on the occasions they will need it next season. The kit is flourescent green, the secondary colour used in the away shirt.
The shirt features tonal green vertical bands across the front and back of the body. The sleeves are solid flourescent green. The trim is the darker green of the home kit, with cuffs, side stripes and collar all utilising the colour scheme.
