Stunning! Banfield Complete 2016/17 Kits
Club Atletico Banfield of the Argentinian Primera Division recently released their orange away shirt for the 2016/17 season. It’s the fortieth season the club has used the colourway in their kit and remains as popular as ever with supporters.
The kit was unveiled in the 1 – 0 win over Velez Sarsfield. A pink ribbon featured on the front in support of the Breast Cancer Awareness campaign in south America.

The shirt comes with a green and white v-neck design, taking in the club’s traditional colours. The body of the shirt is orange with vertical green and white stripes on the right hand side. Diagonal white and green lines run the length of the stripes giving a blurred effect as a result.
In addition, Penalty has used green and white accents and trim. The sleeve cuffs are green whilst the club badge is full colour, green and white with gold outline.
Black shorts, along with green and white hooped socks complete the kit. Last weekend, due to a colour clash with Patronato Paraná’s kit, the club used white shorts.

It’s a cracking home kit. Most noteworthy, the white shirt comes with a green sash running left to right. In a nod to historic football kits, a filled v-panel in green completes the collar design.
Finally, white shorts and socks complete the kit.
