They were tipped as dark horses for the title and, despite a shock defeat in their opener with Italy, started to find their form by romping to 3-0 and 4-0 victories over Ireland and Hungary respectively. Wales were waiting in the Quarter Finals and after an epic encounter Mark Wilmots' side crashed out 3-1.
