Lithuania’s kits are rooted in the nation’s colours — primarily yellow and green — with occasional reds or accent colours in alternate/away designs. Traditional designs have featured crew-necks or v-necks, clean blocks of colour, and the national emblem, with modern updates in fabrics, fit, and style. Over time, design elements like chevrons, side-panels, ventilation, and vibrant accent trims have given new life to the classic yellow-green palette.
1994 Auda Home Kit – A vintage classic: yellow with green & red trim, capturing early post-Soviet Lithuanian identity.
2006 Saller Home Kit – Bold yellow with green shorts; simple and clean, recalling tournament qualifiers and strong home performances.
2016/17 Hummel Home & Away – The yellow home shirt with Hummel’s chevrons and black panels along shoulders and flanks; accents drawn from the national flag.
2020/21 Hummel Sets – Most recent home-and-away designs using the “TECH MOVE” template: yellow home shirt with black logos & ventilation panels; a red away shirt in matching design style.
Lithuania has produced many players who have left a mark in both national and international football:
Andrius Skerla – Long-serving defender, captain, and one of Lithuania’s most-capped players.
Nerijus Valskis – Forward known for his prolific scoring in both club and international matches.
Gratas Sirgedas – Emerging midfield talent representing newer generations.
Hummel — The current supplier for many recent seasons including home & away sets in 2020-21 and 2021-22. Their designs combine traditional colours with modern template elements.
Earlier suppliers have included Saller (in the 2000s), and previously brands that created more basic kits with simpler styles.
Colour Palette Consistency: yellow home shirts with green accents have been the mainstay. Away kits have experimented more with red, dark tones, or combinations of national colours reversed.
Design & Fabric Advances: from very simple designs (plain colours, basic collars) in earlier kits, to modern technical fabrics, ventilation panels, more fitted cuts, and accent trims recently.
Use of Templates & Custom Details: Hummel’s use of the “TECH MOVE” template in recent kits allowed cost-efficiency while still incorporating elements like chevrons, flag-inspired trims, and national symbol sign-offs.
