Montenegro’s kits blend bold red (its home colour), gold trimming, and symbols drawn from the national coat of arms — all meant to embody pride, strength, and national identity. Over time, designs have shifted from simpler templates to stronger visual detail: collars, sleeve cuffs, colour contrast, and patterning. Legea has been a recent supplier, bringing modern stylistic touches like sharp shoulders, jagged edge patterns, and v-neck or polo collars, particularly from the 2018-19 era onward.
2018/19 Legea Home & Away – These kits introduced a more personalised look for Montenegro, with a classic polo collar, gold trim around the crest, and a white away shirt with red detailing.
2020/21 Legea Home Jersey – A standout design using jagged red/yellow patterning on the shoulders, strong use of red base and gold detailing, V-neck style, marking a shift toward more modern graphics.
Earlier Alternate / Away Designs – Clean white away kits, sometimes with red/gold trims or contrast collars, alternated with darker or bolder away versions in some campaigns. (Based on earlier Montenegro kit releases using Legea.
Montenegro has produced several high-profile names whose performances have become part of its football heritage:
Stevan Jovetic – The country’s leading scorer, widely regarded as one of its most iconic attacking players.

The main supplier in recent years has been Legea, which has produced many of Montenegro’s home and away kits including the 2018/19, 2020 versions, bringing in custom patterns, gold accents, modern collar styles.
Before that, earlier kits used simpler designs, sometimes from smaller or regional kit makers/brands, with less elaborate detailing. (Specific earlier supplier names are less documented in the public sources I found.)
Colour Consistency – Red remains the primary colour home kits; gold and yellow are standard trims. Away kits often use white or lighter tones with contrasting trim.
