Jimmy Greaves is the greatest goal scorer in Tottenham Hotspurs history, probably the greatest goal scorer in the history of British football, and arguably the greatest goal scorer ever to play the game. Signed by Bill Nicholson from AC Milan in late 1961 for £99,999, Greaves went on to score 266 goals in 380 games for Spurs and scored in both the 1962 FA Cup Final and 1963 UEFA European Cup Winners Cup Final victories, and collected another FA Cup Winners medal with Spurs in 1967.
