The 2015-16 away shirt was a new red colour, with a bold black contrast stripe on the sleeves, collar and cuffs, and for the upper part of a broad diagonal sash that is a darker red on the lower half. Financial woes and court proceedings apart, Rangers had a good season, securing the league title on 5 April and winning the Challenge Cup Final beating Peterhead 4-0 at Hampden Park. However, they were runners up in the Scottish Cup, losing to an injury time winner by Hibernian. As worn by players such as Lee Wallace, Kenny Miller, Danny Wilson and James Tavernier.
